A MOTHER'S CALL

To Parent
From the time of conception, a mother is constantly nurturing, guiding, protecting, supporting, molding and shapinng her child. Being sensitive to the voice of God and obedient to His will enables us to parent our children . This does not mean parenting is without challenges, heartaches, failures and disappointments. It simply means that the “small still voice”, when we listen will be there to guide us through the various seasons of parenting in peace. When we are need in guidance, we can be reminded of His words, “Train up a child in the way he should go. When he is old, he will not depart from it.” - Proverbs 22:6
To Parent

To PRAY
Nothing can compare to a mother who has discovered the power of prayer! Prayer time with our eternal father allows us to plug in and connect to the ultimate source of power…the power of God! It provides an opportunity for us to cry out to Him, adore and worship Him, express our thanks to Him, request forgiveness, and utter our disappointments, failures and shameful moments. It opens our heart for forgiveness and receiving His guidance. Through His Holy Spirit, He gives us power over appetite. The power to fight and resist the enemy so that our husbands, children, home and communities are covered under His blood.
To PRAY

TO PLAN
Planning is a skill we should develop continuously. It allows us to sometimes prevent or reduce stress and chaos in our daily schedule. From tracking the kid’s doctor appointments, hair & nail appointments, PTA, birthday parties, date night, girls night out and bible study…it can be chaotic and overwhelming at times! Developing a habit of utilizing a planning system (big or small) is a step in the right direction. When we plan effectively, we can execute like a champion!! God’s word reminds us that, “The plans of the diligent lead surely to advantage, but everyone who is hasty comes surely to poverty”. - Proverbs 21:5
